Key Responsibilities\n

As a Licensed Clinical Social Worker at Allied Counseling P.C, your day-to-day responsibilities will include:

• Conducting comprehensive clinical assessments of students to understand their mental health needs, strengths, and challenges.

• Developing and implementing individualized treatment plans using solution-based interventions and evidence-based therapeutic modalities such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT).

• Providing ongoing psychotherapy services to students dealing with issues such as anxiety, depression, trauma, and behavioral challenges.

• Maintaining detailed and accurate clinical records, adhering to HIPAA regulations and documentation standards.

• Collaborating closely with teachers, school psychologists, and other mental health professionals to create a coordinated approach to the mental health care of students, fostering a supportive educational environment.

• Engaging in regular case consultations and peer reviews to enhance service delivery and share best practices.

• Educating students and their families about mental health, treatment options, and utilizing community resources to support their emotional well-being.

Your work will primarily involve adolescents and young adults in a school setting, addressing a wide range of mental health issues that may affect their academic performance and overall quality of life. Qualifications\n

• A Master’s degree in Social Work from an accredited educational institution.

• A valid license to practice as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) in the state of Florida.

• Minimum of 3 years of clinical experience, particularly in providing psychological support and therapy in school or outpatient settings.
