Key Responsibilities\n

As an LCSW at Harbor Light Family Counseling, your responsibilities include:

• Conducting comprehensive clinical assessments of students to identify mental health needs and develop personalized treatment plans that align with best practices.

• Delivering various therapeutic interventions, grounded in evidence-based practices such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), tailored according to the individual preferences of clients.

• Maintaining accurate clinical documentation and progress notes in compliance with HIPAA regulations, ensuring confidentiality and high-quality care.

• Engaging in multidisciplinary collaboration with teachers, school counselors, and psychologists to coordinate comprehensive care for clients.

• Participating in case consultations and team meetings, contributing to a culture of continuous learning and improving treatment quality.

• Providing education and support to students and their families, helping them navigate mental health challenges and access community resources.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

You will focus on a diverse group of school-aged children facing various mental health challenges, including anxiety, depression, ADHD, and trauma-related issues. Your role will involve working closely with families to ensure that treatment is holistic and considers the complexities of each child’s environment.

Qualifications\n

• A Master’s degree in Social Work from an accredited institution is required.

• A valid state-issued license as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW).
