Key Responsibilities\n

As a Licensed Professional Counselor, you will have the opportunity to significantly impact the lives of young adults through various therapeutic activities, including the following:

• Group Therapy: Facilitate engaging, supportive group sessions where clients can share experiences, learn from each other, and build a sense of community.

• Individual Therapy: Provide empathetic one-on-one counseling focused on exploring thoughts, feelings, and behaviors, while helping clients develop effective coping strategies and action plans.

• Treatment Planning: Collaborate closely with clients to create individualized, goal-oriented treatment plans that address their unique needs and aspirations.

• Progress Monitoring: Utilize various assessment tools to track clients’ progress, evaluate treatment effectiveness, and adjust strategies as necessary.

• Team Collaboration: Work alongside a multidisciplinary team of professionals, ensuring effective communication and coordination of care to enhance client outcomes.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Your primary focus will be on young adults aged 18 to 30 who are facing a variety of mental health challenges, including anxiety, depression, and emotional distress. By leveraging your expertise, you will help these individuals navigate their journeys, providing them with the tools and support needed to inspire hope, nurture healing, and create a pathway to recovery.

Qualifications\n

• Education: Applicants must possess a Master’s Degree in a relevant field, such as Counseling, Social Work, Psychology, or Marriage and Family Therapy.

• Licensure: A valid Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) license is required to practice in the state of Pennsylvania.

• Skills: Must demonstrate strong interpersonal, communication, and problem-solving skills, along with a commitment to professional ethical standards.

Preferred Experience\n

While a minimum of two years in mental health treatment is required, experience working with adolescent and young adult populations is highly desirable. Familiarity with evidence-based treatment modalities and telehealth platforms will enhance your effectiveness in this role.

Compensation and Benefits\n

The salary for this position ranges from USD 85,000 to 100,000 per year, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
