Work Environment This position operates within a fully remote setup, allowing our therapists to work from the comfort of their own homes while maintaining a professional work-life balance. You'll engage with clients primarily during standard business hours, from Monday to Friday, 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM. Key Responsibilities Conduct comprehensive assessments for clients experiencing mood disorders, thoroughly evaluating the severity, frequency, and duration of symptoms. Collaborate with each client to formulate individualized treatment plans that align with their specific needs, preferences, and therapeutic goals. Deliver evidence-based therapeutic interventions, primarily utilizing Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), to facilitate meaningful progress in clients' mental health journeys. Educate clients and their families on mood disorders, treatment modalities, and self-care strategies to foster informed and empowered decision-making regarding their care. Monitor clients' progress throughout treatment, adjusting therapeutic techniques and strategies as needed to ensure optimal outcomes. Work collaboratively with psychiatrists and other medical professionals to provide integrated and comprehensive care solutions for our clients. Stay abreast of the latest research and best practices in treating mood disorders to continuously enhance the effectiveness of therapeutic interventions. Maintain clear and accurate documentation of assessments, treatment plans, and client sessions, adhering to ethical and legal standards regarding confidentiality. Participate in case consultations, team meetings, and ongoing professional development to refine clinical skills and stay informed of innovative approaches to treatment. Advocate for clients by promoting awareness and understanding of mental health issues, reducing the stigma surrounding mood disorders. Patient Population / Client Focus This role specifically targets individuals experiencing a range of mood disorders, including clinical depression, bipolar disorder, anxiety-related disorders, and other co-occurring conditions. Our diverse clientele spans various ages, backgrounds, and socio-economic statuses, providing a rich and rewarding opportunity for therapists to apply their skills and knowledge to make a profound impact. Qualifications A Master's or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Mental Health Counseling, Marriage and Family Therapy, or Psychology from an accredited institution is required for this position. Current licensure as an LCSW, LPC, or LMFT in the state of Arizona is mandatory. Extensive expertise in evidence-based treatment approaches targeting mood disorders, notably CBT and DBT. A strong foundation in psychopharmacology, enabling effective collaboration with psychiatric colleagues. A history of delivering effective treatment outcomes for clients facing mood disorders. Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to establish a meaningful connection with clients from diverse backgrounds. Preferred Experience Experience in a community health clinic setting is a plus, providing insight into the unique challenges faced by diverse populations. Familiarity with telehealth platforms and digital documentation systems to enhance client engagement and care efficiency.
