Work Environment This position operates in a fully remote setting, allowing for flexibility in work-life balance while still maintaining a strong connection with our clinical team. You will engage with colleagues using telehealth technology and secure electronic health records (EHR) systems, ensuring efficient communication and coordination of care. The typical work hours are Monday through Friday from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM, with occasional evening shifts when necessary for client needs. Key Responsibilities Conduct comprehensive mental health assessments for children and adolescents, utilizing a variety of evaluative techniques. Develop and implement personalized treatment plans that take into consideration each patient’s developmental stage, family dynamics, and individual challenges. Provide evidence-based treatment methods, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), play therapy, and family therapy. Collaborate closely with child psychiatrists, teachers, and other mental health professionals to ensure a holistic approach to treatment. Offer crisis intervention and support during emergencies, equipping patients and families with coping strategies and resources. Educate clients and their families about mental health conditions, therapeutic processes, and available community resources. Maintain accurate, confidential documentation in compliance with ethical guidelines and legal requirements. Participate in regular team meetings and case consultations to share insights and enhance treatment approaches. Stay updated on current research and best practices related to child and adolescent mental health. Patient Population / Client Focus The primary focus of this role is on children and adolescents battling mental health challenges such as anxiety, depression, ADHD, and behavioral disorders. Our aim is to create a safe and inviting atmosphere where young individuals can openly discuss their feelings and experiences. By addressing these concerns, you will contribute to their overall emotional and psychological development, aiding in their transition to adulthood. Qualifications A Master's or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution. Current and valid licensure as an LCSW, LMFT, or LCPC in the state of Nevada. Strong foundational knowledge of childhood and adolescent mental health disorders, treatment modalities, and therapeutic techniques. Demonstrated experience in delivering individual and family therapy specifically to young clients. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, coupled with a compassionate, child-centered therapeutic approach. Proficiency with electronic health records (EHR) for documentation and treatment planning. Ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team environment. Preferred Experience At least two years of professional experience in a clinical setting, focusing on mental health therapy for children and adolescents. Demonstrated success in implementing evidence-based therapy techniques with tangible patient outcomes. Experience in working within an interdisciplinary team aimed at delivering comprehensive care. Compensation and Benefits This full-time position offers a competitive salary ranging from USD 80,000 to 100,000 per year, plus additional performance-based bonuses.
