Key Responsibilities\n

The Licensed Mental Health Counselor will be responsible for a range of essential duties, including:

• Conducting detailed psychosocial assessments to understand each client's unique needs and developing tailored treatment plans.

• Facilitating the client intake process, ensuring all necessary paperwork is completed accurately and efficiently.

• Working closely with a multidisciplinary team of clinical staff to monitor client progress and adapt treatment plans as needed.

• Identifying and addressing negative behaviors in clients by employing effective questioning techniques and monitoring behavioral patterns.

• Conducting individual, group, and family counseling sessions, utilizing evidence-based practices to encourage healing and growth.

• Documenting and charting client progress diligently to maintain comprehensive records and provide necessary referrals.

• Providing support and guidance to help clients combat addictions and harmful behaviors, promoting healthier lifestyle choices.

• Participating in regular team meetings and case consultations to contribute to a cohesive treatment approach.

• Performing any additional responsibilities as required to meet agency needs.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

This role requires an understanding of a diverse patient population with varying mental health needs, including individuals battling addiction, anxiety, depression, trauma, and relationship issues. The candidate will need to demonstrate empathy and cultural competence while working with clients from different backgrounds.

Qualifications\n

• Must hold a relevant Social Work License as mandated by state regulations (LPC, LMFT, or LICSW).

• No history of medical malpractice claims, verified by a third-party provider.
\n
• Authorized to work in the U.S. for the duration of employment.
\n
• Exceptional professional demeanor and the ability to communicate effectively and empathetically with clients and colleagues.

• Capable of thriving in a fast-paced environment, demonstrating effective time management and adaptability.

• Strong command of English, proficient in speaking, reading, and writing.
\n
• Good physical and mental health to provide optimal client care.

• A master’s degree in Psychology, Counseling, Social Work, or related fields is required.

Preferred Experience\n
