Key Responsibilities\n

As a Licensed Mental Health Counselor, you will undertake a variety of essential duties that directly contribute to the effectiveness and success of our treatment programs:

• Conduct thorough client assessments and evaluations, writing comprehensive case notes to document progress and interventions.

• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to develop individualized treatment plans (ITP) tailored to meet each client's unique needs.

• Support the treating therapist in the administration and interpretation of psychometric assessments and report findings accordingly.

• Lead supervision sessions in partnership with the site supervisor, providing mentorship and guidance to other counseling staff.

• Participate actively in staff and clinical meetings, contributing to discussions aimed at improving patient care and addressing organizational challenges.

• Familiarize yourself with agency resources, services, and systems to efficiently connect clients with the appropriate support.

• Prepare for client sessions by reviewing case notes and conducting necessary research to understand specific client challenges.

• Engage in small group supervision and seminar initiatives, including review of recorded sessions and collaborative research efforts.

• Maintain accurate and up-to-date client records, ensuring compliance with legal and ethical standards for both written and electronic documentation.

• Coordinate care with partner agencies to enhance service delivery and optimize treatment outcomes for clients.

• Contribute to research projects that explore best practices and innovative approaches to mental health treatment.

Qualifications\n

• A Master’s degree in Psychology, Social Work, Counseling, or a related field.
