Work Environment

The chosen Physical Therapist will work directly with patients in their homes, creating a unique and compassionate environment that fosters healing and personal connection. The primary work hours are Monday to Friday, from 9 am to 5 pm, allowing for a structured yet fulfilling weekly schedule.

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver personalized therapy care by assessing each patient's unique physical capabilities and crafting a tailored treatment plan that aligns with their individual goals.
• Maintain a reasonable caseload, ensuring ample time to dedicate to each patient for effective treatment and follow-up.
• Demonstrate a proficiency in outpatient orthopedic care, integrating hands-on techniques with the latest therapeutic principles.
• Implement cost-effective treatment modalities that enhance patients' quality of movement while emphasizing non-surgical interventions.
• Create and manage comprehensive rehabilitation plans that incorporate a mix of land and water-based activities to suit various patient needs.
• Motivate patients throughout their rehabilitation journey, emphasizing lifestyle changes and promoting strength, flexibility, balance, and coordination.
• Collaborate closely with multidisciplinary healthcare teams to provide holistic care, adjusting treatment plans based on shared clinical insights and patient progress.
• Utilize electronic medical record (EMR) software, specifically Web PT, to maintain precise documentation of treatment sessions and patient outcomes.
• Continuously evaluate and adapt treatment approaches, integrating evidence-based methodologies to optimize patient recovery.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Our therapists work with a diverse patient population, ranging from post-operative orthopedic patients to individuals recovering from chronic conditions. The emphasis on home therapy allows for flexibility, accommodating patients of all ages and backgrounds, and enabling tailored interventions in their personal environments. This setting encourages the therapist to adjust therapies dynamically based on real-world observations of the patient's daily activities.

Qualifications

• A completed Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT) from an accredited program.
• An active and unblemished Physical Therapist license in New Jersey with no history of sanctions.
• Mastery of various manual therapy techniques coupled with an evidence-based approach to care.
• Exceptional skills in developing and executing effective exercise programs tailored for individual patients.
• Proficiency in utilizing EMR systems effectively for meticulous record-keeping.

Preferred Experience

• Experience with outpatient orthopedic care, particularly in home settings.
