Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct comprehensive assessments to gauge the severity, frequency, and duration of clients' mood disorder symptoms, establishing a solid foundation for effective treatment planning.

• Collaborate closely with clients to develop customized treatment plans that incorporate their specific needs, therapeutic goals, and personal preferences.

• Deliver evidence-based therapeutic interventions, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), demonstrating adaptability to varying client responses and needs.

• Provide thorough education and support to clients and their families regarding mood disorders, including treatment modalities and comprehensive self-care strategies.

• Regularly monitor and document clients' progress throughout the treatment process, making data-driven adjustments to treatment plans as required.

• Engage in collaborative practice with psychiatrists and other healthcare professionals, fostering an integrated approach to client care.

• Stay current with the latest developments in mood disorder research and therapeutic techniques to enhance treatment approaches.

• Maintain meticulous and confidential records of client sessions, assessments, and treatment plans in compliance with all regulatory requirements.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

The primary focus of this role involves working with individuals experiencing mood disorders, including but not limited to depression, bipolar disorder, and anxiety-related disorders. You will be instrumental in helping clients identify their challenges and collaboratively work towards recovery. Qualifications\n

• A Master's or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution is required.

• Current and valid licensure as an LCSW, LMHC, or LMFT in the state of New York.

Compensation and Benefits\n
