Key Responsibilities

As a Physical Therapist at our clinic, you will undertake the following key responsibilities:

• Conduct thorough consultations with patients to assess their physical conditions and understand their symptoms.
• Diagnose movement dysfunction and develop individualized treatment plans that address the unique needs of each patient.
• Guide patients through proper therapeutic exercise techniques to enhance their recovery.
• Administer physical modalities such as massage, stimulation, or application of heat and cold to promote healing.
• Assist patients in the proper use of mobility aids, such as wheelchairs and walkers, to ensure their safe and effective use.
• Maintain detailed documentation of patient progress and goals using electronic health record systems.
• Provide education and support to patients and their families regarding in-home treatment options and necessary exercises post-therapy.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Our clinic caters to a diverse patient population, including children and adults facing various mobility challenges, athletic injuries, post-surgical recovery issues, and chronic conditions. Your role will involve developing strategies that meet the specific rehabilitation needs of each client, ensuring a holistic approach to their recovery.

Qualifications

The ideal candidate will possess the following qualifications:

• A Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) degree from an accredited institution.
• A valid physical therapist license in the state of New Jersey.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills to effectively interact with patients and their families.
• Proficiency in using electronic documentation and word processing systems.
• A highly adaptable approach to patient care, demonstrating flexibility and agility in managing various patient needs.

Preferred Experience

While we welcome new graduates, candidates with at least two years of clinical experience in a rehabilitation setting will be preferred. Experience in pediatrics or geriatrics will be considered an asset, as our patient demographics require varied expertise in treatment strategies.

Compensation and Benefits

The compensation for this full-time position ranges from USD 100,000 to 125,000 annually, complemented by a robust benefits package. You will benefit from:
