Description - Your Responsibilities

• Conduct routine and specialized laboratory tests across various areas, including chemistry, hematology, and immunology, following established protocols.
• Evaluate test outcomes for accuracy, resolve discrepancies, and perform routine maintenance and calibration on laboratory equipment.
• Assist in specimen collection and meticulously prepare samples for testing as required.
• Thoroughly document lab procedures, train and mentor new staff or students, and maintain quality assurance standards within the laboratory.
• Ensure a clean, safe working environment while adhering to all regulatory and accreditation standards.

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Clinical or Medical Laboratory Science or equivalent allied health degree, along with preparation for ASCP/AMT certification.

Certifications

• ASCP or AMT Board of Certification in Clinical Laboratory Science (CLS) obtained within one year of hire.
• Maintain active certification throughout your tenure.
