Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct comprehensive mental health assessments to gauge clients' concerns, diagnose issues accurately, and outline detailed, client-centered treatment plans.

• Deliver individual, group, and family therapy using evidence-based practices such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), and mindfulness techniques.

• Engage in crisis intervention strategies for clients facing acute mental health challenges, ensuring their safety and well-being during emergencies.

• Document and maintain confidential client records meticulously, including treatment plans, progress notes, and assessment results, adhering to ethical guidelines and legal standards.

• Work collaboratively with our interdisciplinary team comprising psychiatrists, social workers, and healthcare professionals, to provide comprehensive care and support for clients.

• Inform and educate clients and their families about various mental health conditions, therapeutic options, and available community resources, advocating for their rights and needs.

• Commit to ongoing professional development by attending training sessions, workshops, and staying updated on the latest trends in mental health care.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Your counseling practice will encompass a wide range of populations, including children, adolescents, adults, and families, addressing various mental health issues such as anxiety, depression, relationship challenges, trauma, and more. Qualifications\n

• Active licenses LMFT (Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist), LPC (Licensed Professional Counselor), or LCSW (Licensed Clinical Social Worker) in the state of Oregon.

• A Master’s or Doctoral degree in counseling, psychology, social work, or a closely related field is required.

• Strong clinical assessment skills with the ability to formulate sound clinical diagnoses.

• Minimum of two years of experience providing therapeutic services in a clinical setting.

• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with clients in various contexts.

• Proficient in working both independently and collaboratively as part of a multidisciplinary team.

• Demonstrated commitment to ethical practices and professional standards within counseling.

Preferred Experience\n

• Previous work experience in a community health clinic or similar outpatient environment is highly regarded.

Compensation and Benefits\n

Our competitive salary range for this position is USD 85,000 to 100,000 annually, commensurate with your experience and qualifications.
