Make a meaningful impact by supporting a 7th-grade student in a school environment with personalized care and clinical expertise. As a contract Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN), you'll work closely with the Health Services team and school staff to deliver one-on-one nursing support throughout the academic year. The assignment is located near Osseo, MN, and follows the school calendar—providing a consistent 37.5-hour workweek. This role is a rewarding opportunity to provide essential care to a student with complex medical needs, ensuring their safety and ability to thrive in the classroom and beyond.

Key Qualifications:

• Current, valid Minnesota LPN license
• Active CPR/AED certification
• At least 2 years of experience with pediatric patients, students, or individuals requiring tracheostomy care and suctioning
• Experience in school-based, home health, or pediatric nursing strongly preferred

Core Responsibilities:

• Deliver direct, one-on-one nursing care for a student with a tracheostomy, including monitoring and performing suctioning as needed
• Follow and document all services in accordance with the individualized healthcare plan
• Accompany the student on school transportation, riding the bus to and from home daily
• Maintain clear, accurate, and timely documentation of care, observations, and interventions
• Collaborate with school staff, the student's family, and healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive support
