Work Environment\n

This role is entirely remote, allowing you the flexibility to conduct therapy sessions from the comfort of your home while still being part of a supportive team. You will work primarily Monday to Friday from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM, with occasional evening shifts to accommodate patient needs. Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough mental health assessments to determine the needs of children and adolescents, employing standardized assessment tools and clinical judgment.

• Develop, implement, and track individualized treatment plans, taking into account the unique developmental stages and family dynamics of each patient.

• Provide evidence-based therapeutic interventions, including cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT), play therapy, and other modalities tailored to the age and needs of the client.

• Facilitate family therapy sessions, collaborating with parents and caregivers to strengthen family dynamics and promote a supportive home environment.
\n
• Work with child psychiatrists and allied health professionals to ensure a coordinated approach to patient care, discussing treatment progress, and adjusting plans as necessary.

• Respond to mental health crises by providing immediate support and intervention, ensuring the safety and well-being of patients.
\n
• Educate patients and families about mental health challenges, available treatment options, and community resources that can assist in their journey toward recovery.

• Maintain accurate and confidential records in compliance with HIPAA regulations, utilizing our electronic health record (EHR) system for documentation.

• Actively engage in team meetings, case consultations, and peer supervision while contributing to a culture of continuous learning and professional development.

• Stay updated on the latest research, best practices, and advancements in child and adolescent psychiatry to provide the best possible care.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

You will primarily work with children and adolescents experiencing a range of mental health issues, including anxiety disorders, depression, ADHD, and behavioral challenges. Your role will be crucial in helping these young clients navigate their emotional and behavioral difficulties, equipping them with coping strategies and resilience to lead fulfilling lives.

Qualifications\n

• A Master's degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited program.

• A valid and current license as an LCSW, LCSW-R, LMHC, or LMFT in the state of New York.
\n
• A minimum of two years of post-licensure experience, particularly with child and adolescent populations.
\n
• Solid understanding of developmental psychology, assessment techniques, and therapeutic interventions suitable for children and adolescents.

• Effective communication and interpersonal skills, with an ability to connect and build rapport with young clients and their families.
\n
• Proficiency in using electronic health record (EHR) systems and other relevant technology to facilitate patient care.

• A collaborative mindset that values teamwork and open dialogue with peers.

Preferred Experience\n

• Previous experience providing therapy via telehealth platforms.

Compensation and Benefits\n

The compensation for this position ranges from USD 115,000 to 130,000 annually , commensurate with experience and qualifications. In addition to a competitive salary, we offer a generous sign-on bonus for qualified candidates.
