This role allows for remote work, offering flexibility while maintaining an outpatient focus. Equipped with state-of-the-art telehealth tools, you will connect with clients via video sessions, enabling you to deliver effective treatment without the constraints of a traditional office setting. While most sessions will occur during standard office hours, occasional evening shifts may be necessary to accommodate the needs of our clientele.

Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough mental health assessments for children and adolescents, addressing both immediate and long-term needs.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Your primary focus will be on serving children and adolescents facing a spectrum of mental health challenges. By providing individual and family therapy, you will help these young individuals navigate their issues, develop healthy coping strategies, and work towards positive outcomes. Qualifications\n

• A Master’s or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• Current and valid licensure as an LCSW, LMHC, or LMFT in New York State.

• A minimum of two years of post-licensure clinical experience working with children and adolescents is required.

• Solid understanding of child and adolescent mental health disorders and therapeutic modalities.

• Experience in delivering individual and family therapy is essential.
\n
• Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, characterized by a child-centered and empathetic approach.

• Ability to establish trust and rapport with clients and their families, creating a safe therapeutic space.

• Proficient in using electronic health record (EHR) systems for documentation and tracking client progress.

• A collaborative mindset to effectively work within a multidisciplinary team.

Preferred Experience\n

While two years of experience is the minimum requirement, candidates with additional experience in therapeutic settings that specifically address family dynamics or trauma-informed care are highly desirable. Compensation and Benefits\n
