Duality Mental Health Services is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Licensed Mental Health Counselor to join our remote team. This full-time position focuses on delivering high-quality mental health care to adolescents and young adults through telehealth. The successful candidate will play a pivotal role in providing evidence-based therapeutic interventions, collaborating with treatment teams, and supporting the recovery journeys of clients.

Work Environment\n

This position operates within a completely remote outpatient setting, allowing counselors to work from the comfort of their own homes while maintaining a healthy work-life balance. Our Operations team manages administrative duties, empowering counselors to focus exclusively on clinical care. This role offers the flexibility to create a schedule during standard business hours, Monday through Friday, from 9 AM to 5 PM, thereby promoting life balance without the obligation of on-call work.

Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct virtual assessments and screenings to evaluate each client's mental health and substance abuse history, utilizing telehealth technology to ensure thoroughness and confidentiality.

• Facilitate engaging individual and group therapy sessions, implementing evidence-based methodologies tailored to the needs of adolescents and young adults.
\n
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary treatment team, including social workers and case managers, to provide integrated care that combines therapeutic techniques and community resources.
\n
• Educate and coach clients’ family members on how to be involved in the recovery process, fostering a supportive home environment.
\n
• Maintain meticulous records of client interactions and treatment progress in compliance with regulatory standards, ensuring confidentiality and integrity of information.
\n
• Actively participate in ongoing training in our proprietary care pathways, developing expertise in evidence-based frameworks unique to Duality.
\n
• Utilize advanced technology tools including Google Suite and Electronic Health Records (EHRs) to enhance patient care and streamline documentation processes.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Our services primarily target adolescents and young adults grappling with various mental health challenges, including anxiety, depression, trauma, and substance use disorders. Understanding the unique struggles faced by this demographic, our counselors are tasked with creating an empathetic and safe environment that encourages open dialogue and personal growth.

Qualifications\n

• A Master’s degree in Social Work, Counseling, Marriage and Family Therapy, or Psychology is required.

• Must possess an active state license as an LMFT, LMHC, or LCSW.
\n
• Proven experience providing telehealth services, particularly to adolescents and young adults.

• Strong written and verbal communication skills, with a demonstrated ability to build rapport with diverse populations.

Preferred Experience\n
