People’s Talk Mental Health Services is seeking dedicated Licensed Mental Health Counselors to join our dynamic remote team. This full-time position offers the opportunity to provide essential mental health services via telehealth to adolescents and young adults. As a Licensed Mental Health Counselor, you will play a pivotal role in addressing the mental health crisis faced by young people across the country, characterized by rising issues such as anxiety, depression, trauma, substance use disorders, and suicidal ideation.

Work Environment\n

This position is 100% remote, allowing you to work comfortably from anywhere in the United States. Our virtual platform is designed to facilitate seamless communication and interaction with clients, streamlining the counseling process and promoting a flexible work-life balance. You will have access to a full-time Admissions and Assessment team to support your practice, ensuring that you can concentrate on your clients rather than administrative duties.

Key Responsibilities\n

As a Licensed Mental Health Counselor at People’s Talk, your daily responsibilities will include:

• Conducting individual and group therapy sessions via telehealth, utilizing evidence-based therapeutic approaches tailored to adolescents and young adults.

• Maintaining and managing a caseload of clients, ensuring that each receives personalized, high-quality care.
\n
• Participating in regular case discussions with fellow clinicians to collaborate on treatment plans and share best practices.
\n
• Documenting all client interactions, progress notes, and therapeutic interventions in compliance with legal and ethical standards.
\n
• Participating in ongoing professional development and training sessions, including accessing free online CEUs.
\n
• Providing crisis intervention and support as needed, ensuring that all clients receive timely care.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

You will work primarily with adolescents and young adults facing a range of mental health challenges. This patient population often encounters unique stressors and behavioral health issues, making it essential for counselors to create a safe and trusting therapeutic environment where clients feel understood and supported.

Qualifications\n

• A Master’s degree in Social Work, Psychology, Marriage and Family Therapy, or Mental Health Counseling is required.
\n
• Current licensure as an LCSW, LMHC, LMFT, or LCSW-R is necessary. We also welcome junior-licensed clinicians who are seeking supervision.

• Availability to work between 12 and 40 hours per week, depending on whether you choose a contract (1099) or W2 employment model.

• A willingness to facilitate group sessions and accommodate individual and family sessions.
\n

Preferred Experience\n

Experience working with adolescents and young adults in a mental health or counseling setting is preferred. Familiarity with telehealth platforms, crisis intervention strategies, and evidence-based therapeutic techniques will enhance your success in this role.

Compensation and Benefits\n

The compensation for this position is competitive, with a salary range of USD 115,000 to 130,000 per year, dependent on experience and qualifications. In addition to a robust salary, we offer:
