Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough initial assessments and evaluations of clients to identify their unique needs and create individualized treatment plans.

• Utilize a variety of evidence-based therapeutic modalities, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), psychodynamic therapy, and solution-focused short-term therapy, to provide effective counseling.

• Engage in one-on-one sessions with clients, as well as facilitate group therapy for families, couples, and individuals struggling with mental health conditions.

• Maintain accurate and up-to-date clinical records, complying with all legal and ethical standards in documentation.
\n
• Participate actively in professional development workshops and team meetings to share knowledge and improve therapeutic strategies as part of a cohesive healthcare team.

Qualifications\n

• A Master’s or Doctoral degree in Counseling, Psychology, or a related field is required.

• Possession of an active and unrestricted Professional Counselor (LPC) license in the state of Texas.

• A minimum of two years of counseling experience is required, ideally within a clinical setting.

• A strong understanding of legal and ethical standards relating to mental health practices.

• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with an ability to build rapport with clients from diverse backgrounds.

• Proficiency in using Electronic Medical Record (EMR) software and related technologies to maintain accurate records and streamline processes.

Preferred Experience\n

• Experience or specialization in family therapy, couples therapy, substance misuse counseling, or trauma is highly preferred.

Compensation and Benefits\n
