Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough assessments and evaluations to create tailored therapeutic plans for individual clients, considering their unique challenges and goals.

• Provide evidence-based therapeutic interventions using methodologies such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), psychodynamic therapy, and solution-focused therapy for individuals, couples, and families.

• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop comprehensive care strategies, ensuring coordinated support for each client.

• Maintain accurate and up-to-date clinical records in compliance with all legal and ethical standards.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

As a member of the Adventist Behavioral Health team, you will work primarily with individuals and families facing various mental health challenges, including anxiety, depression, trauma, and substance misuse. Many clients may come from underserved communities, and your role will be crucial in helping them navigate their difficulties and achieve their personal goals.

Qualifications\n

• A Master's or Doctoral degree in Counseling, Psychology, or a related field is required.

• Must hold an active and unrestricted license as a Professional Counselor (LPC) in the state of Texas.

• At least two years of relevant counseling experience in a clinical setting is essential.

• Strong understanding of legal and ethical standards governing mental health practice.

• Annual salary ranging from $70,000 to $90,000, commensurate with caseload, availability, and experience.
