Work Environment\n

This role operates in a remote setting, enabling flexible working conditions while allowing you to connect with students in various school environments. The typical workweek spans Monday to Friday from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM, ensuring a structured yet adaptable schedule.

Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct in-depth assessments of students to understand their mental health needs and develop personalized treatment plans that address their specific challenges.

• Facilitate evidence-based therapeutic interventions, employing a range of methodologies such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Dialectical Behavior Therapy, and mindfulness practices.

• Regularly document clinical interactions and client progress in accordance with ethical standards and organizational policies, ensuring compliance with HIPAA regulations.

• Collaborate with a diverse team of professionals, including school counselors, psychologists, and special education staff, to deliver integrated care tailored to students’ needs.

• Provide educational resources and workshops for students and their families, promoting awareness and understanding of mental health issues.

• Stay updated on current mental health research and best practices, integrating new findings into your therapeutic approach to enhance client outcomes.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

This role primarily focuses on working with children and adolescents within the school system, addressing a variety of mental health challenges including anxiety, depression, behavioral issues, and trauma-related experiences. You will advocate for student needs, facilitating access to mental health services and support networks to empower students and their families toward recovery and resilience.

Qualifications\n

• Master’s degree in Social Work from an accredited institution.

• Active California Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) license is mandatory.

• Ability to independently manage an average caseload while prioritizing client needs in a fast-paced environment.

• Strong initiative and self-motivation, with excellent organizational and communication skills.

Preferred Experience\n

Compensation and Benefits\n
