Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct detailed assessments of clients to evaluate the severity and frequency of mood disorder symptoms, such as depression and anxiety.

• Collaborate with clients to construct personalized treatment plans tailored to their individual needs, preferences, and treatment goals.

• Implement evidence-based therapeutic techniques, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), aimed at enhancing clients' coping strategies.

• Educate clients and their families about mood disorders, available treatment options, and practical self-care strategies to promote mental wellness.

• Continuously monitor and document clients' progress throughout the therapy process, making necessary adjustments to treatment plans as client needs evolve.

• Work collaboratively with psychiatrists and other healthcare providers to ensure a comprehensive approach to patient care.

• Stay informed of the latest advancements in treatment methodologies related to mood disorders, utilizing research to optimize therapeutic approaches.

• Maintain meticulous and confidential records of client interactions, assessments, and treatment plans while adhering to legal and ethical standards.

• Participate actively in team meetings and case consultations, contributing to a collaborative atmosphere focused on professional development and best practices in mood disorder treatment.

• Advocate for clients' mental health needs while promoting the de-stigmatization of mood disorders through community outreach and education.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

The primary focus of this role revolves around individuals experiencing mood disorders and related mental health challenges. You will engage with a population diverse in backgrounds and experiences, offering support and evidence-based interventions to facilitate their journey towards recovery and improved mental health.

Qualifications\n

• A valid license in California as an LCSW, LPCC, or LMFT.
\n
• A Master’s degree in Marriage and Family Therapy, Social Work, or a related field.
\n
• At least three years of relevant clinical experience, specifically with mood disorders, addiction treatment, or similar fields.
\n
• A thorough understanding of California mental health laws and professional ethics.
\n
• Ability to pass a comprehensive background check through the FBI and DOJ.
\n
• Documentation of a current TB test (within the last six months).
\n

Preferred Experience\n

• Experience working with clients with learning disabilities, behavioral problems, or social and emotional disorders.

• Familiarity with evidence-based techniques specifically aimed at treating mood disorders.

Compensation and Benefits\n

We offer a competitive salary ranging from USD 115,000 to 130,000 annually, reflecting the experience and expertise of our team members.
