Wellness Wise Physical Therapy is seeking a dedicated and skilled Physical Therapist (PT) to join our team on a full-time basis at our outpatient office located in Cape Coral, Florida. Key Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive evaluations of patients using diagnostic and prognostic tests to assess muscle, nerve, and joint function.
• Design and implement individualized treatment plans aimed at alleviating pain, restoring function, and preventing disability, working closely with each client.
• Oversee and mentor Physical Therapy Assistants to ensure the effective delivery of agreed therapy plans.
• Provide therapeutic interventions such as manual therapy, therapeutic exercises, and modalities including traction and massage, tailored to the client's specific needs.
• Regularly evaluate the patient's environment and provide recommendations to optimize their independence and recovery.
• Document patient progress by maintaining detailed clinical records, including initial evaluations, progress notes, and discharge summaries, complying with insurance and legal requirements.
• Collaborate with an interdisciplinary team to discuss patient care, sharing insights and strategies that contribute to patient well-being and rehabilitation outcomes.
• Educate patients and their families on treatment protocols and the proper use of therapeutic devices to foster a better understanding of their care.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Qualifications

• A graduate of an accredited Physical Therapy program with a Bachelor's Degree in Physical Therapy.

• At least one year of professional experience as a Physical Therapist, preferably in an outpatient or home care setting.
• Current CPR certification.
• A valid driver's license and automobile insurance to facilitate travel for home evaluations or visits.
• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with a strong commitment to compassionate patient care.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively as part of a health care team.

Preferred Experience

While a minimum of one year of experience is required, candidates with prior experience in outpatient settings or specialized training in manual therapy, sports rehabilitation, or geriatric care will be viewed favorably. A strong aptitude for integrating innovative treatment practices and demonstrating clinical excellence is also advantageous.

Wellness Wise Physical Therapy offers a competitive annual salary ranging from USD 100,000 to 120,000, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
