Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct comprehensive assessments to understand clients' unique backgrounds, issues, and therapy goals, utilizing diagnostic tools and assessment frameworks.

• Provide evidence-based therapeutic interventions such as cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT), mindfulness approaches, and narrative therapy, tailoring these modalities to individual client needs.

• Develop, implement, and regularly evaluate personalized treatment plans that evolve alongside client progress and feedback.

• Maintain thorough and accurate documentation within our electronic health record (EHR) system to ensure compliance with ethical, legal, and funder requirements.

• Foster strong, trusting therapeutic relationships by promoting open communication that encourages clients to share their experiences and challenges freely.

• Offer guidance and practical tools to help clients navigate life’s obstacles and build resilience.

• Engage in regular supervision and collaborative discussions with peers to enhance your therapeutic skills and stay abreast of best practices in mental health care.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Your role will center around school-aged children, adolescents, and their families, addressing issues ranging from anxiety and depression to behavioral challenges and family dynamics. You will create safe spaces for clients to explore their thoughts and emotions, assisting them in building coping mechanisms and fostering healthy relationships both in and out of school.

Qualifications\n

• Master’s degree in Social Work from an accredited program.

• Current state licensure as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) in New York.

• A minimum of two years of clinical experience, ideally having worked within a school or educational setting or related environments.

Compensation and Benefits\n
