Work Environment\n

This role is primarily remote, allowing you to provide care from a comfortable setting while interacting with clients through various telehealth platforms. Our facility, located in Augusta, Georgia, specializes in detoxification services, positioning you to play a vital role in the recovery journey of clients facing substance use disorders and mental health challenges. The work schedule is from Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM, with occasional evening or weekend hours required to meet client needs.

Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct in-depth assessments and develop personalized treatment plans for clients experiencing major mental illness and/or severe emotional disorders.

• Provide direct clinical services, including individual therapy, group therapy, and crisis intervention, to assist clients in navigating their recovery.

• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to ensure cohesive and comprehensive care, actively participating in team meetings and case discussions.
\n
• Engage in regular communication with clients to track progress, adjust treatment plans as needed, and empower them in their recovery journey.
\n
• Maintain detailed documentation of client interactions, assessments, and treatment plans in accordance with organizational and regulatory standards.

• Adhere to ethical guidelines and the conduct code set forth by the organization, ensuring a safe and respectful therapeutic environment.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

The primary focus of this role is to work with clients at our Detox Center who are facing substance use challenges alongside mental health concerns. This diverse population includes adults seeking recovery from addiction and those struggling with the emotional and psychological effects of their circumstances. Your expertise in assessment and individualized treatment will greatly influence their journey towards improved mental health.

Qualifications\n

• A Bachelor’s degree in social work or a related field from an accredited institution.

• A valid LCSW license in the state of Georgia.

• Strong interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively communicate with clients from a variety of backgrounds.

• Proficient knowledge of mental health assessment, diagnosis, treatment modalities, and crisis management techniques.
