This full-time, contract position is set to begin August 3rd, 2026, running through May 21st, 2027, with likely additional days for pre- and post-planning. You’ll work primarily with a small group of 8-9 students in an inclusion classroom, collaborating closely with two dedicated teams to create an enriching and accommodating learning space.

This role is open due to an unexpected vacancy, allowing you to step in where your skills will truly make a difference.

Qualifications:

• Valid Georgia Professional Standards Commission (GaPSC) Teaching Educator Certification
• SPED General Curriculum endorsement required
• Previous classroom experience, specifically in inclusion settings, highly valued
• Collaborative, adaptable, and committed to student success

Responsibilities:

• Deliver individualized and group instruction aligned with IEPs in an inclusive classroom setting
• Collaborate seamlessly with co-teachers and multidisciplinary teams to support every learner
• Develop, implement, and adjust instructional materials and strategies for diverse learning needs
• Monitor, document, and communicate student progress to families and staff
• Foster a nurturing, structured, and inclusive environment for all students
