This contract opportunity covers the 2026-2027 academic year, with an anticipated start in early August and a commitment through late May—including potential days dedicated to pre- and post-planning.

You will have the chance to work in a collaborative elementary environment, partnering with two engaged and supportive teams, as you nurture the academic and social growth of approximately 8-9 students. Qualifications:

• Hold a valid GaPSC Teaching Educator Certificate
• Possess the Special Education General Curriculum endorsement
• Demonstrated experience in an inclusion special education classroom is preferred
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills
• Passion for fostering an inclusive, positive learning environment

Responsibilities:

• Design and deliver individualized instruction in alignment with students’ IEPs
• Collaborate with co-teachers, support staff, and families to ensure optimal student outcomes
• Document progress and maintain accurate records in compliance with state and federal guidelines
• Participate in planning, intervention, and professional collaboration sessions
• Adapt curriculum materials to meet diverse learner needs within the inclusion setting
• Foster a positive, encouraging, and respectful classroom environment
