Role Summary Serve as a Strategy & Operations professional to prepare and execute mergers and acquisition plans to maximize synergies and financial benefits from transactions. Provide operationally focused support and advice across the transaction life cycle—including carve‑out, due diligence and integration—whether supporting an acquirer or seller. Focus on enhancing value, accelerating implementation and managing operational transaction risk. Offer support on operational aspects such as carve‑out readiness, operational due diligence, synergy assessment and delivery, day‑one readiness assessment and 100‑day planning, and integration process. Manage and motivate teams of professionals with diverse skills and backgrounds. Consistently deliver quality client services by monitoring progress, demonstrating in‑depth technical capabilities and professional knowledge, maintaining long‑term client relationships, cultivating business development opportunities. Employment Details Full time employment, Monday – Friday, 40 hours per week, 8:30 am – 5:30 pm. Qualifications Must have a bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Accounting, Computer Science, Analytics, Engineering, the Sciences, Economics, Law, or a related field and 5 years of progressive, post‑baccalaureate work experience, OR a master’s degree in the same areas and 3 years of work experience. Must have 3 years of experience in conducting assessments of technology, finance, operations, manufacturing, or supply chain infrastructure. Must have 2 years of experience in business integrations, divestitures, or carve‑outs, including quantitative and qualitative analysis. Must have 2 years of experience managing cross‑functional workstreams for integration or separation of client operations, including contract separation or legal entity operationalization. Must have 2 years of experience in a consulting or professional services firm in mergers and acquisitions, covering merger integrations, divestitures, or carve‑outs. Must have 2 years of experience synthesizing approaches in complex integration or divestiture conflicts. Must have 2 years of experience in project management, including managing, developing, and coaching professional employees. Must have 2 years of experience developing client leadership‑level materials for integration or separation of client operations. Must have 1 year of experience supporting business development, including developing C‑suite level proposal materials. Must have 1 year of experience in project or engagement management, including managing engagements, engagement‑related budgets, and applying it to business development or pricing efforts while managing live deals or engagements. Requires domestic and international travel up to 80% to serve client needs. The employer will accept any suitable combination of education, training, or experience. The base salary for this job is $185,005.00 per year. In addition, our Total Rewards package includes medical and dental coverage, pension and 401(k) plans, and a wide range of paid time off options. We operate a hybrid model with an expectation for most external, client‑serving roles to work together in person 40‑60% of the time over the course of an engagement, project or year. Under our flexible vacation policy, you’ll decide how much vacation time you need based on your personal circumstances. You’ll also be granted time off for designated EY Paid Holidays, winter/summer breaks, personal/family care, and other leaves of absence when needed to support your physical, financial, and emotional well‑being.
