The Kinetic Care Center is seeking an experienced and dedicated Full-Time Physical Therapist to join our dynamic home care team in Montclair, New Jersey. Work Environment

This Physical Therapist position is based within the home care setting, allowing for a flexible work environment where you will provide one-on-one therapy to patients in their residences. You will be integral to a committed team of healthcare professionals who prioritize compassion and quality of care in all interactions. The work schedule is Monday to Friday, from 2 PM to 8 PM, tailored to meet the needs of our patients and their families while supporting a healthy work-life balance for our staff.

Key Responsibilities

As a Physical Therapist at Kinetic Care Center, you will:

• Deliver high-quality, patient-centered physical therapy by managing the complete therapeutic care process for an assigned caseload.
• Conduct thorough patient assessments and develop tailor-made care plans geared towards goal achievement, focusing on engagement and positive patient experiences.
• Oversee and implement most of the physical therapy services provided to patients, guiding them throughout their rehabilitation journey.
• Utilize appropriate therapeutic interventions within your scope of practice, ensuring compliance with legal and ethical standards.
• Evaluate and monitor the therapeutic, rehabilitative, and functional capabilities of patients, contributing to the collective plan of care.
• Administer purposeful therapeutic care directly in patients' homes, employing methods that align with the physician's strategic treatment plan.
• Instruct patients, families, and caregivers on the effective use of therapeutic techniques, exercises, and assistive devices to promote ongoing recovery outside therapy sessions.
• Manage your caseload actively by determining daily staffing needs and coordinating patient assignments for optimal service delivery.

Patient Population / Client Focus

This role will primarily focus on individuals recovering from various orthopedic conditions, surgical interventions, and chronic pain management issues. Your expertise will be crucial in improving their mobility, functionality, and overall quality of life. You will work collaboratively with patients of all ages, ensuring a customized approach that meets their distinct needs and rehabilitation goals.

Qualifications

The ideal candidate will possess the following qualifications:

• A valid and active state license to practice as a Physical Therapist.
• A Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) degree from an accredited program.
• Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS) certification is required within 30 days of employment.
• A strong commitment to patient-centered care, with a proven ability to demonstrate compassion and empathy in therapeutic settings.

Preferred Experience

While a minimum of one year of directly related experience is preferred, we are open to considering candidates with relevant internship experience or new graduates who possess a strong foundation in physical therapy principles.
