Work Environment

This position is primarily onsite, providing therapy services within the local community. Therapists will work one-on-one with patients in their homes, offering a unique setting that requires mobility and adaptability. Key Responsibilities

• Conduct detailed assessments of patients' physical abilities, mobility, and overall functional performance.
• Formulate and implement individualized treatment plans based on thorough evaluations, ensuring that all interventions align with the patient's objectives and health status.
• Utilize a variety of physical therapy techniques, including manual therapy, therapeutic exercises, and specific modalities such as ultrasound, electrical stimulation, and therapeutic taping to alleviate pain and facilitate recovery.
• Provide education and training to patients and their families on effective movement strategies, injury prevention, and proper body mechanics to enhance recovery and prevent future injuries.
• Regularly evaluate patient progress, adjusting treatment plans as necessary to align with rehabilitation goals and optimizing outcomes.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team of healthcare providers to ensure comprehensive patient care, including communication with physicians, occupational therapists, and nursing staff.
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records, documenting treatments, progress notes, and patient responses to therapy interventions.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Our patient population spans a wide array of physical therapy needs, including but not limited to, post-surgical rehabilitation, chronic pain conditions, sports injuries, neurological conditions like stroke or Parkinson's disease, and general mobility challenges faced by seniors. Working with diverse age groups and conditions, you will adapt your therapeutic approaches to meet individual needs, ensuring a holistic approach to recovery.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited educational institution.
• Current licensure as a Physical Therapist in New Jersey.
• Board certification from the American Physical Therapy Association (APTA) is preferred.
• A minimum of one year of clinical experience in a physical therapy setting.
• Familiarity with various therapeutic modalities and advanced rehabilitation techniques.
• Strong observational, analytical, and problem-solving skills to effectively evaluate and address patient needs.
• Excellent communication skills to convey complex information clearly to patients and their families, fostering a collaborative care environment.

Preferred Experience

While the minimum experience required is one year, candidates with a background in home health care, geriatric therapy, or specialized treatment modalities will be highly valued. Compensation and Benefits

The salary for this position ranges from USD 100,000 to 120,000 annually, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
