Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct comprehensive evaluations and assessments for children with disabilities or developmental delays to identify their needs and strengths.
\n
• Participate in the development and implementation of Individualized Family Service Plans (IFSP), ensuring they are tailored to the unique needs of each child and family.
\n
• Monitor and document progress towards goals as a key member of a collaborative team to ensure the effectiveness of interventions.
\n
• Provide guidance and support to families, equipping them with strategies and skills to enhance their child’s development at home.
\n
• Administer evaluations and assessments in compliance with Federal and State regulations, upholding the highest standards of practice.
\n
• Build trust and rapport with children and their families to foster a supportive and engaging learning environment.
\n
• Utilize evidence-based practices and the coaching model to provide instruction and support in natural environments.
\n
• Maintain health and safety standards for all individuals served and staff members.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

This position focuses primarily on infants and toddlers with disabilities or developmental delays. Your efforts will directly contribute to their development in essential areas such as physical, cognitive, social/emotional, and communication skills. By partnering with families, you will help guide their child’s learning and growth during this critical early stage in life.

Qualifications\n

• Must hold a Master’s Degree or Doctorate in Social Work from an accredited institution.
\n
• Valid LCSW license from the Department of Public Health is required.
\n
• A valid driver's license is necessary for conducting any required off-site visits.
\n
• Demonstrated adaptability to various learning styles to effectively address the needs of children and their individualized treatment plans.

Preferred Experience\n

• At least one year of experience in early intervention services with a proven track record of working with children and families.

• Knowledge and commitment to Natural Learning Environment Practices are highly encouraged.

• Bilingual candidates are preferred, as diverse communication skills can help us reach a broader client base.

• Strong organizational and time management skills, as well as effective communication abilities, are essential for success in this role.
