Key Responsibilities\n

• Provide individual, group, couple, and family therapy, focusing on the unique emotional needs of patients and their loved ones in a hospice setting.

• Conduct thorough client interviews to collect and interpret vital social, personal, environmental, and health-related information, utilizing evidence-based practices.

• Assess clients' needs and plan interventions or programs designed to meet their social and emotional requirements effectively.

• Facilitate cognitive, affective, and behavioral health initiatives, including crisis intervention strategies and provision of referrals to community resources as needed.

• Build and maintain trusting relationships with clients, fostering an atmosphere of acceptance and respect.

• Continuously evaluate the effectiveness of treatment services and adapt methodologies as necessary to ensure optimal outcomes.

• Stay organized by maintaining accurate and comprehensive client records that reflect current status and treatment services provided, adhering to established documentation standards.

• Deliver clinical counseling tailored to individual client needs, ensuring that each session is focused and contributes towards therapeutic goals.

Qualifications\n

• Master’s degree in social work, counseling, psychology, or a closely related field is required.

• Must hold a valid Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) designation in Florida.

• A minimum of 4 years of professional experience in clinical social work, preferably in hospice or mental health settings.

• Prior experience in counseling related to behavioral mental health challenges such as depression, anxiety disorders, substance abuse, and relationship issues preferred.

• Familiarity with hospice care, end-of-life issues, and grief counseling is strongly favorable.

Compensation and Benefits\n

The position offers a competitive annual salary ranging from $85,000 to $104,000.
