Job Opportunity – Registered Nurse (RN) Medical/Surgical Telemetry – Wisconsin

Start Date: October 26, 2026

Location: Madison, Wisconsin

Compensation: Details provided to qualified applicants

Schedule: 12-hour evening/night shifts between 1900-0730, alternating weekends. Will accept 4x12 schedules. Holidays as applicable to operations. Patient ratios: 4:1 days, 5:1 nights and weekends. 24 hours of orientation provided.

• Float position across multiple Med/Surg units including cardiac, spine, neuro, and oncology specialties
• Level One Trauma Center and Magnet-designated academic health system
• Epic EMR system required; strong telemetry and arrhythmia interpretation skills essential
• Comprehensive interdisciplinary support including IV teams, rapid response teams, pharmacy, respiratory services, and more
• Opportunity to work with complex and dynamic adult patient populations in both medical and surgical general care and intermediate care (IMC) units

Requirements:

• Active Wisconsin RN license or compact state RN license
• BLS certification (American Heart Association)
• Minimum 2 years of acute care experience within the last 3 years in Med/Surg specialty
• Previous travel nursing experience required
• Epic charting system experience required
• Demonstrated experience working in different Med/Surg units (cardiac, spine, neuro)
• Basic arrhythmia interpretation experience; must pass telemetry examination prior to start (80% passing score required, 100% accuracy on lethal rhythms)
• Trauma Level I or II experience preferred
• Flu vaccination required (medical/religious exemptions only)
• Willingness to float to neuro and oncology units as needed
• Must reside 50 miles or more from the facility
