Work Environment\n

This position is a remote role, providing the convenience of telehealth within the comfort of your own space while allowing for flexibility in scheduling to accommodate diverse client needs. Our typical work hours are Monday to Friday from 9:00 AM to 6:00 PM, with willingness to adjust schedules when necessary to ensure the best patient care. You will engage with clients through a secure, user-friendly electronic platform designed for effective remote therapy.

Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct detailed, culturally sensitive mental health assessments, exploring each patient's unique experiences to inform personalized treatment plans.

• Implement evidence-based therapeutic interventions tailored to individual patients, addressing their mental health challenges while honoring their cultural backgrounds.

• Offer professional individual, family, and group therapy sessions to work through mental health concerns, fostering resilience and promoting overall well-being.

• Collaborate closely with a multidisciplinary team of psychiatrists, psychologists, and social workers, ensuring comprehensive and coordinated care for each client.

• Provide crisis intervention services for patients experiencing acute mental health issues, offering support and stability during emergencies.

• Educate patients and their families about mental health conditions, treatment options, and available community resources, empowering them to take charge of their mental well-being.

• Maintain accurate, confidential documentation of patient interactions, assessments, and treatment plans, fully complying with legal and ethical standards.

• Participate actively in case conferences, team meetings, and cultural competency training, continually refining your skills and knowledge base.

• Stay abreast of current research, evidence-based practices, and evolving cultural considerations in mental health therapy to enhance client care.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

You will work primarily with a diverse patient population, including individuals from various ethnicities, cultural backgrounds, and sexual orientations. Our clients may include community members dealing with issues such as anxiety, depression, trauma, and adjustment challenges. You will be instrumental in creating a supportive environment to address their individual needs, fostering trust and rapport that facilitates healing and growth.

Qualifications\n

• A Master's or doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• Possession of a current and valid license as an LMFT, LPC, or LCSW in the state of Connecticut.

• A solid understanding of mental health disorders and evidence-based therapeutic approaches, coupled with a proven ability to provide culturally competent care.

• Experience in delivering individual and group therapy through inclusive methodologies that respect diverse client backgrounds.

• Strong crisis intervention skills and the ability to maintain composure and effectiveness during challenging or high-stress situations.

• Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, allowing for the establishment of rapport with a wide variety of individuals.

• Proficiency in electronic health record (EHR) systems and digital communication tools.

Compensation and Benefits\n

We offer a competitive salary ranging from USD 70,000 to 100,000 per year, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
