Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct comprehensive mental health evaluations to assess clients' behavioral and emotional state, documenting findings meticulously from the initial consultation through the end of treatment.

• Develop individualized treatment plans that incorporate the unique needs of clients, collaborating with them to set achievable goals for recovery.

• Facilitate both individual and group therapy sessions, employing therapeutic techniques that promote client engagement and healing.
\n
• Monitor and document client progress throughout their treatment journey, adjusting intervention strategies as necessary to ensure optimal outcomes.
\n
• Collaborate with an interdisciplinary team of healthcare professionals, including psychiatrists, nurses, and social workers, to enhance client care and coordinate intervention plans.
\n
• Provide follow-up communications with clients, their families, and external medical providers, especially regarding clients who may require hospitalization or additional support.
\n
• Identify potential behaviors that may obstruct recovery, offering strategies and resources to facilitate behavioral change and recovery.

• Support family members and primary caregivers in managing the mental health challenges of their loved ones, fostering a holistic approach to treatment.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

At Pavilion Psychotherapy Services, our clients range from adolescents to adults who may struggle with various mental health conditions including anxiety, depression, trauma, and substance use disorders. We provide a safe, non-judgmental environment where clients can express their feelings and work towards recovery. The telehealth setting allows us to reach clients who might have difficulty accessing traditional in-person services due to geographical or physical constraints.

Qualifications\n

• Master's or doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• Current and valid licensure as an LMFT, LPC, or LCSW in the state of Arizona.
\n
• Successful completion of the National Counselor Examination (NCE) and/or the National Clinical Mental Health Counseling Examination (NCMHCE).

• Demonstrated proficiency in electronic health record systems, specifically AVATAR.
\n

Preferred Experience\n

• Prior experience as a mental health counselor, with a focus on individual and group therapy.

• In-depth understanding of physical and emotional health issues, including addiction and comorbid disorders.
\n
• Familiarity with the American Mental Health Counselors Association (AMHCA) best practices and guidelines.

• Strong knowledge of psychotropic medication management and its effects.

Compensation and Benefits\n

The salary for this position ranges from $80,000 to $100,000 annually, commensurate with experience.
