Key Responsibilities\n

• Provide immediate crisis counseling and intervention for students or clients experiencing acute distress and ensure necessary assessments are conducted in a timely manner.

• Manage student support referrals received through Maxient, promptly evaluating each case and documenting updates in the system as required.

• Maintain accurate and confidential patient records following all relevant state and federal laws, ensuring adherence to ethical standards of practice.

• Design and deliver professional development training sessions for students, faculty, and staff on a range of mental health topics aimed at fostering a supportive educational environment.
\n
• Consult with stakeholders on mental health concerns, offering guidance on best practices for addressing psychological challenges and promoting student welfare.

• Plan and execute mental health outreach programs and wellness initiatives to educate students on mental health maintenance and academic retention strategies.

• Conduct thorough assessments and individualized counseling sessions, addressing a variety of issues including mental health challenges and substance abuse concerns, both personally and in group settings.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Your primary focus will be on students and young adults facing various mental health issues and life challenges. Qualifications\n

• Active state licensure as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor (LPCC), or similar credential.
