Facilities Coordinator

Temporary Facilities Coordinator Location: Boston, MA (Fully Onsite) Schedule: Monday-Friday, ideally 6:30 AM-3:00 PM (some flexibility available) Pay: $25-$33/hour, depending on experience Duration: August through the end of October A well-established private college in Boston is seeking a Temporary Facilities Coordinator to support its campus facilities team during a leave of absence. This is a great opportunity for someone with hands-on facilities, maintenance, or handyman experience who enjoys a variety of responsibilities and takes pride in keeping buildings operating smoothly. What You'll Do Respond to daily facilities work orders across campus Set up and break down conference rooms and event spaces Perform basic repairs, including door hardware, locks, fixtures, and hanging pictures Complete light carpentry, electrical, and plumbing repairs as needed Assist with preventative maintenance and general building upkeep Help with small office moves and other facilities-related projects Work closely with a collaborative facilities team to support campus operations What We're Looking For Previous facilities, maintenance, handyman, or building operations experience Comfortable using hand tools and performing basic repairs Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to manage a variety of tasks throughout the day Reliable, team-oriented, and willing to jump in where needed Basic computer skills Massachusetts Driver's License preferred, but not required Additional Details Fully onsite position with free parking provided No on-call or weekend responsibilities for this temporary assignment Background check required prior to start One-round interview process with the Facilities Director #J-18808-Ljbffr
