Payroll Coordinator

Duties:

Complete tasks related to payroll processing for our companies in North America with weekly, bi-weekly and semi-monthly pay cycles for both hourly (union & non-union) and salary employees via ADP WFN or SAP P&K.

Ensure compliance with federal, state and local withholding requirements including issuing timely and accurate pay checks, maintaining adequate records of all data and transactions, responding to supervisors and employee questions and resolving issues and assuring privacy of all payroll related records.

Ability to work with HRIT systems and trace activity into ADP WFN from Workday.

Required Skills:

Need strong analytical skills

Need above average EXCEL skills – this is critical:

• Able to make Pivot tables
• Underst V-Lookups
• Understand "Sum Ifs"

Need MORE than 1-2 years in payroll – need at least 3-4 years payroll exp

Able to problem solve:

• (e.g., employee calls: "my W-2 doesn't match my gross salary")
• Able to prob solve on own before escalating

Preferred:

• SAP Experience - but Peoplesoft or Worldview is OK
• Large payroll exp very helpful, will be handling payroll for several thousand employees
• ADP Workforce Now experience
