Your Key Responsibilities

• Implement diagnostic imaging techniques, ensuring high-quality scans for thorough physician evaluations
• Engage collaboratively with radiologists and healthcare teams to ensure accurate diagnosis
• Efficiently position patients and adjust machinery for optimal imaging results
• Adhere strictly to radiation safety protocols to protect both patients and coworkers
• Keep detailed, accurate records, encompassing imaging logs and equipment upkeep

Education and Credentials

• Associate's Degree in Radiologic Technology essential; Bachelor's Degree preferred
• Graduation from a recognized radiology program required

Necessary Certifications

• ARRT certification (CT and/or Radiography)
• Current BLS certification or the ability to obtain it within 90 days of hire

Preferred Skills and Experience

• Strong grasp of diagnostic imaging protocols and safety regulations
• Effective communication skills to interact with patients and a multi-disciplinary healthcare team
• Aptitude for adapting in fast-paced settings and responding to varying demands
• Attention to detail and a strong sense of responsibility
• Comfortability with imaging technologies such as PACS, RIS, and related software
