Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct comprehensive mental health assessments using both standardized tools and clinical interviews to evaluate the psychological and emotional needs of children and adolescents.

• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans that reflect the specific developmental stages, family dynamics, and unique circumstances of each patient.

• Utilize evidence-based therapeutic interventions, such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Play Therapy, to address mental health issues including anxiety, depression, ADHD, and other behavioral disorders.

• Collaborate with child psychiatrists and multidisciplinary team members to create integrated care approaches that encompass all aspects of a patient's health journey.

• Provide crisis intervention and support, ensuring immediate assistance to children and adolescents experiencing acute mental health crises.

• Educate patients and families about mental health disorders, available resources, and effective coping strategies.

• Maintain thorough and confidential documentation in compliance with HIPAA regulations and ethical standards.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

This role primarily focuses on children and adolescents aged 6 to 18 years, providing mental health counseling for a broad spectrum of issues such as anxiety disorders, depression, ADHD, and behavioral challenges. As a therapist, you will be at the forefront of addressing the multifaceted needs of young individuals, utilizing a holistic approach that involves families and caregivers in the therapeutic process.

Qualifications\n

• Master's or doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited university.

• Current and valid licensure as a LCSW, LPC, or LMFT in the state of California.

• Minimum of two years of post-licensure clinical experience, providing therapy to children and adolescents preferred.

Compensation and Benefits\n

The annual salary for this position ranges from USD 75,000 to 100,000, commensurate with experience.
