Regenerative Medical Services is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Licensed Mental Health Therapist to join our dynamic child and adolescent psychiatry team in San Diego, California. This full-time position allows you to work remotely while making a meaningful impact on the lives of young individuals and their families. Work Environment\n

The position is primarily remote, allowing you the flexibility to conduct therapy sessions from a home office while also engaging with patients in our outpatient setting as needed. Our team operates in a supportive and collaborative atmosphere where mental health professionals are encouraged to share ideas, seek mentorship, and continuously develop their expertise. The usual work schedule is Monday through Friday, from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM, with occasional evening shifts required based on patient needs.

Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough, evidence-based mental health assessments to evaluate the psychological needs of children and adolescents, taking into consideration their developmental stages and family dynamics.

• Develop personalized treatment plans that respect individual patient goals and incorporate family input into the therapeutic process.
\n
• Provide a range of therapeutic interventions, including cognitive-behavioral techniques, mindfulness strategies, and other evidence-based modalities to help clients overcome anxiety, depression, ADHD, and behavioral disorders.

• Deliver family therapy sessions aimed at uplifting parents and caregivers and fostering a supportive home environment for the child’s mental health.
\n
• Coordinate closely with child psychiatrists and other professionals to ensure comprehensive and integrated treatment approaches.
\n
• Provide immediate crisis intervention and support during mental health emergencies, ensuring the safety and well-being of young clients.
\n
• Educate patients and their families about mental health disorders, available treatment options, community resources, and coping mechanisms.
\n
• Stay up-to-date with current research, treatment methodologies, and advancements in child and adolescent mental health care by actively participating in team meetings and continuing education opportunities.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Your main focus will be children and adolescents grappling with various mental health issues, including but not limited to anxiety disorders, depression, ADHD, and other behavioral challenges. You will engage with young clients in a supportive manner that fosters trust and encourages openness, and you will work with their families to support holistic healing interventions.

Qualifications\n

• Master's or doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• Current and valid licensure as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor (LPCC), or Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) in California.

• Minimum of two years of relevant post-licensure experience, ideally within child and adolescent mental health.
\n
• Deep understanding of various child and adolescent mental health disorders and their evidence-based treatment modalities.
\n
• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, demonstrating patience, empathy, and a child-centered approach in every interaction.
\n
• Proficient in electronic health record (EHR) systems and comfortable using digital tools for therapy sessions and documentation.
\n
• Ability to work collaboratively in a multidisciplinary team environment.

Preferred Experience\n

Experience in delivering family therapy and individual therapy settings with a strong foundation in evidence-based approaches is preferred. Familiarity with community resources that can provide additional support for clients is also a plus.

Compensation and Benefits\n

The role offers a competitive salary range of USD 75,000 – 100,000 annually, based on experience and qualifications. Additionally, we provide a sign-on bonus to welcome you to our team.
