Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct initial assessments and ongoing evaluations of clients’ mental health status to identify their needs and challenges.

• Facilitate regular therapy sessions with clients, providing therapeutic guidance and practical tools to help them navigate their mental health journeys.

• Utilize electronic health record (EHR) systems to document sessions, maintain accurate client records, and track progress.

• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team of healthcare professionals, including psychiatrists and primary care providers, to ensure holistic care and effective treatment.

• Provide referrals to external resources or specialty services as needed, ensuring clients have access to comprehensive support.

• Engage in crisis intervention when necessary, demonstrating the ability to remain calm and effective in urgent situations.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

In this role, you will be working with a diverse range of clients, including children, adolescents, and adults from various cultural backgrounds. You will encounter patients facing a wide spectrum of mental health challenges, from mild anxiety and depression to severe substance use disorders and complex trauma. Qualifications\n

• A Master's or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• Current and valid license as an LMFT, LPCC, or LCSW in the state of California.

• A minimum of four years of clinical experience in a mental health counseling role.

• A solid understanding of mental health disorders and evidence-based treatment strategies, with a focus on cultural competence.

Compensation and Benefits\n
