Mindful Walkway Counseling & Wellness Center is seeking a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) to join our dedicated team in Houston, Texas. As a Full-time or Part-time LCSW, you will play a pivotal role in supporting families and children, particularly those who are part of our early intervention programs. Work Environment\n

Key Responsibilities\n

As a Licensed Clinical Social Worker, your essential duties will include:

• Conducting thorough evaluations and assessments of children in early intervention, focusing on their developmental needs.
\n
• Participating in the development and implementation of Individualized Family Service Plans (IFSP), ensuring they meet both the child’s needs and family priorities.
\n
• Collaborating with a multidisciplinary team to monitor child outcomes and adjust support strategies as necessary.
\n
• Developing rapport with families and children to foster a supportive and nurturing learning environment.
\n
• Implementing strategies based on evidence-based practices and utilizing the Natural Learning Environment Practices to optimize child development.
\n
• Providing guidance and resources to families on enhancing their child’s physical, cognitive, and emotional development.
\n
• Complying with all Federal and State regulations to ensure the health and safety of those we serve.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

The focus of your work will primarily be with young children, particularly those with disabilities or developmental delays. By engaging with families in early intervention programs, you will help facilitate the learning of critical skills such as communication, social interactions, and overall cognitive development from birth to three years of age. Your expertise will empower families to support their children's growth effectively.

Qualifications\n

The ideal candidate for this role should possess the following credentials:

• A Master’s Degree or Doctorate in Social Work.
\n
• Current licensure by the Department of Public Health as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) in Texas.
\n
• A valid driver's license to facilitate travel as needed.
\n

Compensation and Benefits\n
