This full-time role focuses on delivering personalized healthcare services directly to patients in their homes and at our primary care office. The successful candidate will play a critical role in diagnosing and treating a variety of health conditions while championing patient education and preventive health practices.

Work Environment

This role is based in Elmira, New York, within a state-of-the-art facility designed for onsite consultations and house calls. You will work a standard schedule of 40 hours per week, Monday through Friday, concluding at 5:00 PM. Key Responsibilities

As a Nurse Practitioner at Gotham Enterprises Ltd, you will undertake essential responsibilities, including:

• Conducting thorough physical examinations and reviewing patient health histories.
• Ordering and interpreting laboratory and diagnostic tests, such as blood tests and X-rays, to inform treatment plans.
• Diagnosing health conditions and proposing effective treatments for both chronic and acute illnesses.
• Prescribing medications in accordance with established guidelines and patient needs.
• Maintaining accurate patient records and detailed schedules utilizing specialized electronic health record systems.
• Informing patients of their health conditions and prescribed treatments, ensuring they understand their care plans.
• Educating patients and their families on disease prevention, overall wellness, and healthy lifestyle practices.
• Advancing clinical knowledge through ongoing research, training, and professional development opportunities.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Our primary care practice serves a diverse client population, ranging from young families to elderly patients managing chronic conditions. You will be tasked with tailoring healthcare approaches based on individual patient needs, ensuring comprehensive management of both chronic and infectious diseases. Your ability to communicate effectively and empathetically will enhance trust and improve patient compliance.

Qualifications

The ideal candidate will possess the following qualifications:

• A valid Nurse Practitioner license in New York State with certification as an Adult Nurse Practitioner (ANP) or Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP).
• A Master’s degree in Nursing or a related field.
• A strong foundation in primary care principles, acute care, and chronic disease management.
• Proficiency in health regulations and ethical patient care practices.
• Exceptional communication skills to foster a positive patient/provider relationship.
• A team-oriented approach, demonstrating a collaborative spirit with a commitment to high-quality care.

Preferred Experience

While a minimum of two years of relevant experience is required, candidates with expertise in specialties such as Internal Medicine, Family Health, Urgent Care, or Emergency Medicine will be given preference. Candidates who possess a DEA registration are also strongly encouraged to apply. Bilingual candidates will find that their language skills enhance the patient experience, though they are not a strict requirement.

Compensation and Benefits

We offer a competitive salary range of USD 130,000 to 150,000 per year, commensurate with experience and qualifications. Our comprehensive benefits package includes:
