Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough mental health evaluations and assessments, ensuring accurate diagnosis and treatment recommendations.

• Perform crisis interventions to aid clients in acute distress, utilizing evidence-based practices to stabilize their emotional states.

• Coordinate care with other professionals and institutions, including local healthcare agencies and correctional departments, to ensure that patients receive appropriate treatment resources.

• Lead group therapy sessions focused on specific issues and therapeutic techniques in assigned mental health observation units.

• Maintain comprehensive and accurate documentation of patient interactions, treatment plans, and progress reports in line with organizational standards.

• Participate in clinical supervision with a Clinical Supervisor at least once weekly, enhancing your professional development and clinical skills.

• Engage in case conferences, contributing to collaborative treatment planning for patients undergoing mental health treatment.

• May be involved in administering psychological tests as assigned and mentoring social work interns or volunteers.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

As a Telehealth Mental Health Counselor, you will primarily work with families and youth who require support in managing mental health challenges, including but not limited to anxiety, depression, trauma, and behavioral issues. You will address their needs holistically, taking into account social, cultural, and environmental contexts that influence their mental health, and ensure they receive exceptional care in a remote setting.

Qualifications\n

• A Bachelor’s degree in Social Work, Psychology, Marriage and Family Therapy, or a related field is required.

• Eligibility to obtain and maintain a valid state license as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor (LPCC), or Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) is essential.

Preferred Experience\n

Experience in a clinical setting, particularly in providing mental health counseling to youth and families, is highly preferred. Familiarity with telehealth practices and digital platforms to conduct remote therapy sessions will be beneficial.

Compensation and Benefits\n

The annual salary for this position ranges from USD 115,000 to 130,000, commensurate with experience and qualifications. Additionally, we offer a comprehensive benefits package that includes:
