Work Environment\n

This role allows for remote work, giving the therapist flexibility while providing the necessary outpatient services to our clients. Working hours are set from Monday through Friday, 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., allowing for a balanced work-life schedule. Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough assessments to evaluate the intensity, frequency, and duration of mood disorder symptoms in clients.

• Collaboratively develop personalized treatment plans that align with clients’ unique requirements and therapeutic goals.
\n
• Employ evidence-based therapeutic modalities, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), to facilitate effective treatment.

• Educate clients and their families on mood disorders, available treatment options, and effective self-care practices for sustained improvement.
\n
• Continuously monitor client progress by tracking symptom changes and adjusting treatment strategies as necessary.

• Collaborate with psychiatrists and other healthcare professionals to ensure integrated care and holistic support for clients.

• Stay informed on the latest research and advancements in mood disorder treatments to continuously enhance therapeutic approaches.

• Maintain accurate and confidential client documentation in accordance with ethical guidelines and legal requirements.

• Participate in case consultations, team meetings, and ongoing professional development opportunities.

• Advocate for clients to ensure their mental health needs are met and to combat stigma surrounding mental health issues.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

The ideal candidate will work primarily with individuals experiencing mood disorders, including depression, anxiety, and bipolar disorder. As a position centered on compassionate care, the therapist will provide a safe space for clients to explore their emotions, challenges, and experiences, facilitating their journey toward recovery and improved mental health.

Qualifications\n

• A current and active state license as a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) is required.

• A Master’s degree in Marriage and Family Therapy or a related field.
