Key Responsibilities\n

As a Licensed Professional Counselor at Revive and Thrive Counseling Center, your responsibilities will include:

• Conducting thorough assessments and evaluations of clients to create individualized treatment plans that address their specific mental health needs.

• Delivering evidence-based therapeutic interventions to individuals, couples, families, and groups using modalities such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), and Solution-Focused Brief Therapy.

• Maintaining accurate and up-to-date clinical records in compliance with state laws and ethical standards.

• Engaging and collaborating with a multidisciplinary team to coordinate comprehensive care and improve overall client outcomes.

• Actively participating in professional development opportunities and workshops to stay abreast of the latest advancements in mental health research.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

You will be working with a diverse range of client populations, including individuals facing anxiety, depression, trauma, relationship challenges, and substance use issues. Your approach will center on providing compassionate, personalized treatment that empowers clients to achieve their mental health goals and enhance their well-being.

Qualifications\n

The ideal candidate will possess the following qualifications:

• An active and unrestricted license as a Professional Counselor (LPC) in Virginia.

• A Master’s or Doctoral degree in Counseling, Psychology, or a related field.

• A minimum of two years of counseling experience, which should preferably include clinical practice.

• A strong understanding of legal and ethical standards relevant to the counseling field.

• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills to build rapport with a diverse clientele.

• Proficiency with Electronic Medical Records (EMR) software and familiarity with related healthcare technologies.

Preferred Experience\n

Compensation and Benefits\n

This position offers an attractive salary range between USD 70,000 and 110,000 per year, commensurate with experience.
