Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough, culturally sensitive intake assessments to gather comprehensive information about each client's unique situation and needs.

• Develop individualized treatment plans that leverage best practices and evidence-based approaches to address each client's specific mental health concerns.

• Deliver individual, family, and group therapy sessions that promote mental health resilience, using techniques that respect cultural backgrounds and personal experiences.

• Work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team that includes psychiatrists and psychologists to ensure a holistic approach to client care, sharing insights and strategies as necessary.

• Provide crisis intervention support, remaining calm and resourceful during high-pressure situations, and guiding clients and their families through emergency mental health matters.
\n
• Educate clients and their families about relevant mental health diagnoses, available treatment options, and community resources to empower them in their care journey.
\n
• Maintain detailed, accurate, and confidential records of client interactions in compliance with legal and ethical standards, utilizing electronic health record (EHR) systems proficiently.

• Participate actively in case conferences and team meetings, contributing to discussions on treatment strategies and organizational goals, while engaging in ongoing cultural competency training.

• Stay informed on current research and advancements in mental health therapy, ensuring your practices align with the latest findings and community needs.

Qualifications\n

• A Master’s or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• A current and valid license as an LCSW, LPC, or LMFT in the state of Oregon.

• Demonstrated understanding of mental health disorders and evidence-based treatment modalities, with a focus on cultural competence in therapy.

• Experience in providing therapeutic services that are inclusive and culturally informed, with a history of positive client outcomes.

• Strong skills in crisis intervention and effective communication, along with the ability to establish rapport with a diverse population of clients.

• Proficiency with electronic health record systems and related technology.

• Commitment to ethical practice, professional boundaries, and confidentiality in all interactions.

• Ability to thrive in a collaborative team environment, contributing expertise and sharing knowledge with colleagues.

Preferred Experience\n

• Prior experience in an outpatient community mental health setting.

Compensation and Benefits\n
