Key Responsibilities

• Implement treatment plans: Carry out individualized physical therapy regimens designed by licensed Physical Therapists, concentrating on mobility enhancement and orthopedic recovery specific to each resident's needs.
• Provide empathetic care: Address resident needs with genuine compassion, meticulous attention to detail, and a strong clinical foundation, promoting a nurturing environment.
• Monitor progress: Observe and document changes in residents' conditions, effectively communicating these observations to the supervising Physical Therapist to adjust care plans as necessary.
• Team collaboration: Work collaboratively with interdisciplinary teams to ensure coordinated care, facilitating comprehensive treatment strategies for residents.
• Relationship building: Establish trust with residents, their families, caregivers, and facility staff, creating a supportive network that encourages adherence to treatment and enhances their overall experience.
• Documentation: Utilize a user-friendly mobile Electronic Medical Records (EMR) system to maintain accurate records of patient encounters, treatments, and progress, ensuring compliant and efficient documentation practices.

Patient Population / Client Focus

You will primarily work with older adults who may have various orthopedic challenges and require rehabilitation support to maintain or regain their independence. Your role will be pivotal in building relationships and trust, allowing you to effectively address their unique needs while fostering a sense of dignity and respect.

Qualifications

• Active New Jersey PTA license: Ensure you hold a current license to practice as a Physical Therapist Assistant in New Jersey.
• Educational requirement: A Bachelor's degree in a relevant field, signifying your foundational knowledge and preparedness for this role.

Compensation and Benefits

We offer a competitive annual salary ranging from $60,000 to $75,000 commensurate with experience, alongside a comprehensive benefits package that includes:
