This role primarily operates in a remote setting, allowing for flexibility and a favorable work-life balance. Counselors will engage with clients through virtual appointments while also having the option to work from our outpatient office in Yakima. Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough assessments and develop personalized treatment strategies tailored to each client's unique needs.

• Facilitate therapeutic sessions for individuals, couples, families, and groups using evidence-based methodologies.

• Employ various therapeutic techniques, such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), psychodynamic therapy, and solution-focused short-term therapy.

• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive and holistic care for clients and their families.

• Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation in compliance with legal and ethical standards.

• Participate in continuous professional development, including workshops and training sessions, to stay abreast of the latest mental health research and practices.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Our counselors work with a diverse client base, including children, adolescents, adults, and families who may experience a wide range of mental health issues. This role is especially rewarding for those who are passionate about supporting clients with limited access to mental health care. The typical caseload may include individuals struggling with anxiety, depression, substance abuse disorders, trauma-related issues, and relationship challenges.

Qualifications\n

• A minimum of a Master’s degree in Counseling, Psychology, or a related mental health field.

• Active and unrestricted licensure as a Professional Counselor (LPC) in the state of Washington.

• A minimum of 2 years of clinical counseling experience is required.

• Strong understanding of legal and ethical standards governing mental health practices.

• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills to build rapport with a diverse clientele.

• Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively as part of a healthcare team.

Compensation and Benefits\n

• Salary range of USD 70,000 to 90,000 per year, commensurate with experience and caseload.
