Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough mental health assessments to evaluate patients’ psychological status and establish tailored treatment approaches.

• Develop, implement, and regularly review individualized treatment plans that reflect patients' unique needs and diagnosis.

• Utilize evidence-based therapeutic interventions, including cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT), dialectical behavior therapy (DBT), and psychodynamic methods, to facilitate healing and coping.

• Facilitate individual and group therapy sessions designed to address emotional challenges, foster growth, and enhance resilience.

• Collaborate closely with psychiatrists and allied health professionals to ensure a holistic treatment experience for every patient.

• Participate in crisis interventions, providing immediate support during mental health emergencies.

• Educate patients and their families about mental health issues, available treatment modalities, and community resources.

• Maintain up-to-date, accurate, and confidential patient records following legal and ethical standards.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

You will serve a diverse clientele ranging from adolescents to adults, each presenting with a variety of mental health concerns. Your approach will be patient-centered, focusing on understanding their unique experiences and empowering them through effective treatment and support strategies.

Qualifications\n

• A Master’s or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• A valid and current license as an LCMFT, LMFT, LCPC, or LCSW-C in the state of Maryland.

• Exceptional knowledge of mental health disorders, treatment methodologies, and trauma-informed care principles.

• Proven skills in conducting comprehensive mental health assessments and crafting effective treatment plans.

• Experience in delivering therapeutic interventions in both an individual and group setting using a variety of evidence-based modalities.
